About this site

Last updated: 22 September 2026 · Publisher: CLEAN KLASS s.r.o. · Responsible editor: James Gray

zlatavor.online is a small, independent publication about consumer security software. It is funded by affiliate commission, it collects no data about its readers, and it puts its publisher's full legal identity on every page. This is who we are and how we work.

Why the site exists

Consumer security software is sold in a market that runs on fear. Advertising for it routinely implies that a reader's machine is already compromised, attributes paid features to free products, quotes laboratory scores without their dates, and prints testimonials nobody ever wrote. The result is that people either buy the wrong thing or, more often, stop believing any of it.

We think there is room for pages that simply explain the mechanism, name their sources, say plainly where the money comes from, and admit what they cannot verify. That is the whole idea.

How the site is paid for

By affiliate commission and by nothing else. Some outbound links are partner links; if you buy after following one, the seller pays us a percentage and you pay the standard price. There is no display advertising, no sponsored content, no paid placement and no newsletter to sell. The advertising disclosure sets out the mechanism step by step.

The four rules

  1. Say where the money comes from — at the top of every page, under every button, and on a page of its own.
  2. Source every load-bearing claim, or leave it out. No unattributed statistics, no borrowed test scores, no invented user counts.
  3. Collect nothing. No cookies, no analytics, no storage, no third-party requests, no contact form. Verifiable in your browser in about a minute — the cookie policy shows you how.
  4. Publish the inconvenient parts. Regulatory findings against brands we earn from, and the cases where a free tool is enough, go in the article.

What we will not do

No fabricated testimonials or reader stories. No star ratings we did not earn the right to give. No countdown timers or artificial scarcity. No guaranteed-outcome claims — no security product makes anyone safe, and saying otherwise is dangerous as well as false. No fake system alerts. No pretending to be a vendor, a newspaper or a consumer association. The full list, with the reasoning, is in the editorial policy.

What we are not

We are not a testing laboratory. We run no malware benchmarks and we publish no scores of our own; instead we point readers to AV-TEST, AV-Comparatives and SE Labs, who do that work properly and publish their methods. We are not a shop, not a reseller and not a support desk — we cannot install, refund or cancel anything, and we have no access to any seller's customer records.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, write to info@zlatavor.online. We acknowledge within five working days, check it against the primary source, and if we got it wrong we correct the page and say on it what changed. We do not delete mistakes quietly.
